EKSPLODIRAO NAFTOVOD U MEKSIKU, ŽRTVE SE BROJE U DESECIMA Ljudi su punili kanistre naftom koja je curila, a zatim su se čuli vriska i zapomaganje

Najmanje je dvadeset osoba poginulo, a 54 ih je ranjeno u petak kada je došlo do eksplozije na naftovodu u središnjem Meksiku gdje su ljudi pokušavali napuniti svoje spremnike naftom.

Požar koji još uvijek nije pod kontrolom izbio je blizu rafinerije Tula u okrugu Tlahuelilpanu gdje je nekoliko sati prije toga došlo do izlijevanja nafte što je privuklo ljude koji su željeli uzeti prolivenu naftu.

Na televizijskim snimkama mogu se vidjeti ljudi kako kanistrima hvataju naftu koja se u mlazovima prolijeva iz naftovoda. Kasnije snimke prikazuju naftovod zahvaćen vatrom i ljude kako vrište i zovu u pomoć.

"Prema prvim izvještajima koji su vrlo ozbiljni dvadeset je osoba poginulo, a 54 ranjeno, s teškim opeklinama", izjavio je guverner države Hidalgo Omar Fayad. "Ima mnogo ozlijeđenih. Mnogo".

Do ovog incidenta je došlo u trenutku kada je novi predsjednik Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador pokrenuo nacionalnu strategiju protiv krađe nafte zbog koje je samo u prošloj i pretprošloj godini Meksiko izgubio oko tri milijarde dolara.
